Rust tutorial servers

It switches on Facepunch's new-player tutorial, so you spawn on a private island and work through gathering, crafting, building and cooking. When you finish, you join the main map with the rest of the server. Rates, wipes and rules work exactly as they normally would.

They are useful for the first hour, because nobody can kill you while you learn the controls. After that you share a map with everyone else, so check the Group and Tags columns before you commit. A busy official server with the tutorial on is a normal server with a quieter start.

Yes, they follow the same wipe cycles as any other Rust server. Monthly is the most common, with weekly and biweekly servers in the mix. A wipe resets the map and sometimes blueprints, so check the server page for its next wipe estimate.

Yes, the tutorial is solo but the main map is not, so you can group up straight after. Look at the Group column first, since team limits range from solo to Rust's default of 8. Pick one that matches how many of you are playing.
